Visit Us

Suan Lahu generates income by selling our Arabica roasts, and by providing visitors to the plantation and nearby villages with the home-stay and tour services offered in our Farm- and Eco-tourism programs. Visiting our farm is a rare opportunity to get to know the workings of an organic coffee plantation and farm, as well as the nuances of highland daily life and cultural practices. Walking trails wind through the coffee plantation and into the surrounding forest. Guided forest walks and village visits give an opportunity to see the home, homeland, and lifestyle of the neighboring villages.

Our guests are welcome to attend purification and fertility rites that villagers perform on their farm lands and in the forested watersheds, as well as dances and rituals performed in the villages. Suan Lahu accommodates tour groups, student groups and individuals for day visits and one- and two-night stays. The Long House, designed and built in local style, provides cozy lodging with basic Western amenities. Meals are tasty local fare. Homestay and farmhouse lodging is also available. Those interested in spending a day, or a night, or two, at Suan Lahu will have a rare and fascinating experience. For more information please contact info@suanlahu.org.
